Telling the story of Breguet aircraft means plunging the reader into an incredible adventure and travelling through a century of brilliant discoveries, trials and glorious periods. It means turning the pages of an album that takes off in 1911 and opens with the Gyroplane (a helicopter before its time), seeing the birth of the Breguet XIV - a precious tool for the 1918 victory and then for Aéropostale -, reliving the great raids of the Breguet XIX, witnessing the birth of Air France, the testing of the Breguet-Dorand and then the development of the very popular Deux-Ponts... It is a tribute not only to the great pioneer Louis Breguet (1880-1955) but also to his teams, engineers and pilots, and to those who continued his work and wrote the last lines of the Breguet legend, with, in particular, the Franco-British Jaguar and the timeless patrol boat Atlantic.
