VW GOLF I AND II THE REFERENCE

In 1974, the Golf I was created by Volkswagen and had an extraordinary journey to become the best-selling Volkswagen in the world. Through the charm of their silhouette, their philosophy, their history, their versions, the first two generations, Golf I and Golf II, remain the most emblematic models and the most loved by collectors gathered in numerous clubs. Through more than 200 photos, this book explores these first two generations in detail, showing their numerous versions: the most popular, the most innovative, the most exciting with the GTI and 16 V, the most efficient with their integrated Syncro transmission, the the sunniest with the convertible, without forgetting the most original and rare with the legendary Oettinger.
