BY CAR SIMONE - SIMONE DES FOREST THE PASSION OF A LIFE

In the car Simone, the passion of a life, is a book tribute to Simone des Forest, a little-known but remarkable figure in French automobile history. Simone des Forest, born in 1910, was one of the first women in France to obtain a driving license in 1929, at a time when women's rights were still very limited. Despite a context where women were largely excluded from motor sports, she was able to make her place and obtain recognition for her skills and her courage on the circuits as evidenced by her numerous records, some of which remain current.
