After the very strong interest aroused by my first book, The Tommy of the Liberation, I decided in 2003 to pay homage to his North American cousin: the Canadian soldier. With the publication, in 2012, of Allies under the English uniform, a technical trilogy was thus created devoted to the 21st Army Group, from Normandy to the Baltic, since that is its generic title. Let’s remember the essentials…
The objective of the Canadian Liberation is to bring together, in an attractive presentation and without claiming, again, to exhaustiveness, the material details surrounding the Canadian fighter, the “Canuck”, as he is familiarly called. The ambition of this new edition, revised and expanded, is to offer basic documentation to fans of military history eager for detailed information, without forgetting collectors of historical souvenirs and vehicles, model makers, as well as groups reconstruction, who will find here the elements allowing them to refine their services.
It is hoped that this work will be commensurate with their exploits.
